ATNN, Kolkata, 18th June 2025: The JIS Education Expo 2025 opened today to an inspiring confluence of ideas, aspirations, and academic excellence at the iconic Dhano Dhanyo Auditorium, Kolkata. The two-day expo—organized by the JIS Group—promises to be a transformative platform for students, parents, and educators alike, aiming to shape informed futures and unlock limitless possibilities.
The grand inaugural ceremony was graced by Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group; celebrated singer and Indian Idol fame Biswarup Banerjee; and senior dignitaries from the JIS Group. Their presence added to the grandeur and purpose of the event, which celebrates not only education but also empowerment.
A major highlight of the day was the felicitation of Class 10 and 12 board examination toppers from over 40 schools across Kolkata—an inspiring tribute to academic excellence that lit up the auditorium and ignited ambition in the hearts of thousands of young attendees.
The Expo featured individual booths from the diverse institutions under the JIS Group, offering deep insights into diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with faculty, subject experts, and career counsellors—underscoring JIS Group’s commitment to student-centric, industry-relevant, and future-ready education.
One of the most impactful elements of the Expo was the free one-on-one career counselling sessions offered to students and parents. These personalized sessions demystified complex admission processes and helped guide students through crucial academic and career decisions.
