Celebrating the Spirit of Yoga at Delhi World Public School

Aajtalkss,kolkata:On June 21st, a special event was organized at Delhi World Public School to mark International Yoga Day. The event was jointly hosted by the National Human Rights Forum and Welfare Trust along with the Bengal Academy for Karate and Self Defense. The chief guest for the occasion was Shri Sujay Chatterjee, representing the Human Rights Forum. Also present were Miss Aritri Dey, a noted social and sports activist from the Karate Academy, and the esteemed Principal of the school, Dr. Romili Sen. Teacher coordinator Shweta Agarwal and several others also participated in the celebration. In his speech, Shri Sujay Chatterjee spoke about the importance of yoga and its growing relevance in today’s world. Dr. Romili Sen also shared her thoughts, and the entire event was seamlessly coordinated by Miss Aritri Dey. The students and teachers of Delhi World Public School participated with great enthusiasm, making the celebration lively and memorable. A special yoga performance by the children added charm to the event. Through this initiative, the age-old heritage of yoga was not only celebrated but meaningfully passed on to the younger generation, spreading a positive message about its significance in everyday life.
