MASA’s BFSI Conclave: Fuelling Dreams, Funding Futures

17th July, Kolkata :MSME & Startup Accelerators (MASA), in collaboration with the Confederation of West Bengal Trade Association (CWBTA), successfully organized the “Loan & Finance Fair and BFSI Conclave 2025” at Hotel Hindusthan International, Kolkata, on Thursday, July 17. The event was powered by the State Bank of India (SBI) and co-powered by HDFC Bank Ltd.

The conclave was led by key figures from MASA and CWBTA, including Mr. Sushil Poddar (President), Mr. C.K. Vardarajan and Mr. Vibhor Tandon (Vice Presidents), Mr. Pradeep Luhariwala (Convenor), Ms. Pragya Jhunjhunwala (Secretary), and Ms. Ira Saha (Director). The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) also supported the event as an institutional partner.

The conclave featured insightful sessions by industry leaders such as B.D. Surana (Surana Equity – HR Equity Consultancy), Ajay Chaudhary (Founder, Manafooli), Rajnish Kumar (Head of SME, SBI), Satyashri Tungar (Senior VP & Zonal Head, HDFC Bank), Tarun Kumar Gupta (President, ACAE), Anand Mathew Stanley (AGM, South Indian Bank), and Bikram Saraf (Director, Value Axis Equity).

Leading banks including SBI, HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, PNB, and South Indian Bank actively participated, offering MSMEs and startups direct interaction with financial professionals and insights into funding strategies and available credit schemes.

Institutions such as Surana Equity, Manafooli Group, Skyking, and INSD Kolkata served as ecosystem and growth partners for the event. More than 300 MSME entrepreneurs attended, gaining valuable knowledge on financial products, government-backed loan options, and sustainable wealth generation techniques.

The conclave provided a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs to connect with the financial ecosystem, reinforcing the role of collaborative banking and policy support in the growth of India’s MSME and startup sector.
