Tapash Roy, Kolkata, 29th October: The Hindusthan Art & Music Society is all set to host the Bharat Sanskriti Utsab 2025, a grand celebration of Indian art, dance, and music from December 18 to 31 across Burdwan and Kolkata. The festival, marking its 18th National and 50th International edition, will showcase performances by artists from 14 Indian states and six countries, including the USA, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with over 5,700 participants — a 12% rise from last year. The Burdwan chapter runs from December 18 to 22 at Town Hall Maidan, Sanskriti Lokomancha, and the Municipal Boys School Ground & Hall, followed by the Kolkata leg from December 26 to 31 at Calcutta Blind School Ground & Hall and Behala Sarat Sadan. Festival President and MLA Debasish Kumar noted that events will run daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., blending competition and recitals in a vibrant showcase of Indian culture. Winners will receive cash prizes up to ₹10,000, mementos, and international participation privileges, while all participants will be honored with certificates and cultural experiences.
