Kolkata Finds Its Wild Side

TAPASH ROY,ATNN:Kolkata stepped into a bold new chapter of adventure as Eco Creek successfully hosted the city’s first-ever Off-Road Adventure Carnival 2025, marking the official launch of East India’s first purpose-built off-road experience. The landmark event brought together celebrated personalities including actress Paoli Dam, former Indian footballers Gautam Sarkar, Bikash Panji, Monoranjan Bhattacharya, Bhaskar Ganguly and Prasanta Banerjee, former cricketer Arun Lal, singer Jojo, and Adhiraj Singh, Founder of Blacktop & Beyond and Corporate Spokesperson of Eco Creek Club, whose vision led the initiative. Designed to introduce Kolkata to a safe, structured, and professionally guided off-road culture, the carnival offered enthusiasts hands-on exposure to terrain driving, slope control, mud navigation, and obstacle challenges under trained supervision. More than just an event, the carnival signaled the birth of a responsible off-road movement in the city, uniting families, enthusiasts, and celebrities, and laying the foundation for future adventure tourism from Kolkata to India’s most rugged landscapes.
