As part of the campaign, roofing sheets used in three artistically designed home-styled pandals at Garia, Dankuni, and Burdwan will be donated to underprivileged families. This symbolic gesture transforms festive celebration into a source of enduring care—ensuring that households without shelter find strength and safety beneath roofs that are strong and lasting.
Durga Puja, celebrated across Bengal as the homecoming of Goddess Durga, is a time of togetherness, joy, and renewal. By donating roofing sheets for the benefit of vulnerable families, the Shyam Metalics Foundation seeks to carry the festival’s spirit beyond rituals, strengthening communities even after the lights of the pandals dim.
