Wheels, Pawprints and a Festive Morning

Kolkata, 5 January 2026: The Driving Range at Tollygunge Club came alive on a pleasant winter morning as the Annual Tolly Pet Party was held alongside the Vintage & Modern Car Display “Heritage in Motion,” drawing a large turnout of members and their families and creating a vibrant blend of celebration, heritage and contemporary excitement, where pets of all kinds—from furry companions to feathered friends—charmed the audience through lively participation, imaginative fancy-dress appearances and touching stories of rescue and adoption, reflecting the deep bond between members and their animals, while more than 50 lovingly preserved vintage and classic automobiles, including the 1913 Stower C1, a 1930 Rolls-Royce limousine, Bentley Mark VI, Morris Minors, classic Austin models and a 1987 Land Rover, offered a graceful journey through motoring history, further energised by the first-time large-scale inclusion of super and hypercars that thrilled automobile enthusiasts, with notable modern showcases from collectors Parveen Agarwal, Aryan Dhanadania, Sagar Poddar, Satyaprakash Kundu and Charitra Sharma, all coming together under the leadership of Club President Mr. Songit Bagrodia and CEO Brigadier Ganapathy, with special contributions from Mr. Billy Bose, who curated the vintage car display, and Mr. Siddharth DebGupta, who brought together the supercar segment, while a thoughtfully curated food spread, lively conversations and strong community participation once again highlighted Tollygunge Club’s unique ability to seamlessly blend tradition, modern interests and shared joy into a memorable start to the new year.
