Mind Over Pressure Annantaa’s Wellness Drive Inspires Students

Tapash Roy, 17 April, 2026: Amid rising concerns around stress, burnout and emotional fatigue among students, Stress Awareness Month 2026 observed globally every April served as a timely backdrop for a focused wellness initiative by Annantaa in collaboration with Calcutta Business School, where a dynamic and transformative stress management session was conducted to help students better navigate academic and personal pressures, the interactive workshop led by counselling psychologist and clinical hypnotherapist Madhuri Sarda and psychotherapist Vidhi Bansal went beyond conventional training by guiding participants through understanding stress, self-awareness and emotional resilience while helping them recognise how their minds function and how they can consciously shift from self-sabotage to self-mastery, through a blend of psychological insights and experiential techniques students were encouraged to identify limiting beliefs, decode negative thought patterns and build confidence in real time, with the session focusing on equipping them with practical tools to break negative thinking cycles, shift inner narratives from fear to confidence and enhance clarity and decision-making abilities, participants also gained deeper insight into how thoughts influence performance and outcomes while becoming more aware of self-doubt patterns and emotional triggers, with techniques based on cognitive behavioural therapy introduced to help reframe and rewire thinking, reduce overthinking and enable meaningful internal shifts, speaking on the initiative Madhuri Sarda noted that many students are silently dealing with stress and performance pressure and that understanding thought processes can support long-term resilience, while Vidhi Bansal highlighted how the session created a safe and reflective space encouraging students to openly explore internal challenges and build emotional awareness and coping strategies, through this initiative Annantaa reinforced its commitment to driving meaningful conversations around mental well-being while empowering students with practical tools and insights to build resilience, clarity and confidence.
